How We Help

Our works involves more than providing basic survival services, although hot meals, showers and clean clothing can go a long way in building confidence and trust.  We also offer a wide range of support services to help people re-build their lives.

Our engagement, assessment and keyworking service is undertaken by our project workers.  They work directly with clients providing advice on accommodation, benefits and health as well as making referrals to accommodation providers and specialist services, where appropriate.

Afternoon activities focus on training and education.  Our Life Skills programme helps clients achieve tangible changes in their lives.  Some activities help improve confidence and self esteem while others are aimed at more practical skills such as cooking, IT and personal development.  Many of our clients missed out on an education, however with our training in Basic Skills, clients can achieve a GCSE equivalent Certificate in Adult Literacy & Numeracy and take their test with us, as we are an approved NOCN learning centre.
